Digital Humanities in the Nordic countries was formed in Oslo, April 21, 2015. The purpose of the organization is to strengthen research, education and communication in the field of Digital Humanities. Our primary means to achieve this is through coordination and informing about activities that take place in the surrounding area. DHN will also organise events such as conferences, workshops, “summer schools” for researchers and students from different levels. The organization can initiate and support such activities. More generally the organization wants to promote cooperation across disciplines, between the academic and the political worlds, and raise the awareness of the significance of Digital Humanities.
DHN is an associated organisation to the European Association for Digital Humanities.
