DHN Board: Call for nominations

The annual General Meeting of the Digital Humanities in the Nordic Countries (DHN) is to be held in Riga in connection to the DHN conference 17-20 March 2020. Board members for the next election period will be elected before 10 March, and the nomination committee therefore opens the call for nominations. Board members are elected for a 3-year period.

The term of three of the current Board members, Bente Maegaard (Denmark), Ditte Laursen (Denmark), Olga Holownia (UK/Iceland), runs out. Bente Maegaard is not a candidate for re-election. You can see the full board at the website: http://dig-hum-nord.eu/about-dhn/board-members/

Every member of the association* has the right to nominate a candidate for a position on the Board. Every member of the association may be nominated for election to the Board provided that

  • the nominee confirms his or her willingness to serve in writing and is supported by two members of the association other than the nominee
  • the nomination reaches the nomination committee by midnight on February 15, 2020.

Nominations should be sent to the nomination committee, Christian-Emil Smith Ore c.e.s.ore[at]iln.uio.no and Bente Maegaard bmaegaard[at]hum.ku.dk by February 15, 2020.

* Only members in good standing (this means that the fee for 2020 is paid) are eligible and have voting rights.
